This collection contains 39 black and white 5 x 7 images, 25 black and white 8 x 10s, 11 oversized photos, and a reunion program from 1940. The subject matter is varied, including individual and group shots of the different Alabama companies, views of France and Germany, and the victory parade held in Montgomery, Ala. in 1919. Also included is an invitation to the victory parade, a European station list for Company H, and two copies of a 1935 167th Infantry Reunion speech made by General Douglas MacArthur.

The 167th Infantry Regiment (formerly the 4th Ala.) was part of the 42nd Infantry Division, or the "Rainbow Division." The 42nd was comprised of soldiers from 26 states and the District of Columbia hence covering the nation "like a rainbow."
